- Dr. Barun Kanoo is an environmental researcher, specializing in waste management, biomass conversion, thermochemical treatment technologies and groundwater treatment. He holds a Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, where his research focused on sustainable waste valorization strategies, including hydrothermal carbonization, composting, and incineration. With multiple SCI-indexed publications, a patent grant, and extensive experience in circular economy approaches, Dr. Barun has contributed to innovative waste-to-resource technologies. He further wants to extend his research in the area of sustainable water/ wastewater treatment technologies and waste valorisation techniques.
