Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

• Civil Engineering Department of NIT Silchar signs a MOU with Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) for creating a Centre of Excellence for Earthquake Engineering and Disaster Mitigation.
• Civil Engineering Department of NIT Silchar signs a MOU with Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH), Government of India and Indian Road Congress (IRC) for imparting training on road safety.
• Civil Engineering Department of NIT Silchar signs a MOU with National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for dissemination of respective expertise in civil/highway engineering field through the road infrastructure development.
• Civil Engineering Department of NIT Silchar signs a MOU with Brahmaputra Board to study on soil erosion and flood damage mitigation for Barak basin.
• Civil Engineering Department of NIT Silchar signs a MOU with Panchayat and Rural Development, Govt. of Assam for time and motion study in respect of MGNREGA works done in Assam.
