SHORT BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH

Dr. Selvam, currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His research work on Roller Compacted Concrete Pavements has earned a prestigious position in the list of top 10 commendable research works conducted in civil, earth science, architecture, ocean, and naval engineering, by the Indian Ministry of Education in 2022. Prior to joining IIT Madras, Dr. Selvam worked as an Adhoc Faculty at the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, for one year. He holds his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including RILEM, Indian Road Congress, Indian Concrete Institute, American Concrete Institute, American Society of Civil Engineers, and Australian Society for Concrete Pavements.
